The Chalk Cemetery Association was established in 1971 and is dedicated to preserving Chalk Cemetery and its history. The Association provides care, maintenance, and oversight of the cemetery grounds and the community that supports and is served by Chalk Cemetery.

The purpose of the Association is to bind together in a common interest those people whose loved ones lie in Chalk Cemetery, some for over one hundred years. To form, in a manner, “perpetual care” for this spot of ground that it may not, in the future years, become lost and forgotten.
